8 Days Lake Baringo,Maralal,Baragoi,Lake Turkana,Samburu

DAY 1

We will leave Nairobi at 0900 hrs for Lake Baringo where we shall spend the night.
The attraction of the lake apart from it's scenic magnificence are the hippos and crocodiles that are considered harmless by the locals who fish next to them. However visitors are more entranced by the multitude of birds. Bird watching is usually done by boat. Other activities around include fishing, water sports or a visit to the Njemp village where traditional crafts and dancing can be enjoyed.



DAY 2


We shall leave Lake Baringo and proceed to Maralal town for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3
Maralal Hotel


We shall leave Maralal after breakfast and proceed South towards Baragoi for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 AND 5

We shall leave Baragoi and head for Turkana where we shall spend the next two nights A picnic lunch will be served on the way.The day will be spent relaxing and boat excursions will be taken to visit the surrounding areas.In the evening one can relax or visit the Turkana manyattas for traditional dances.This will definitely be an experience you will never forget.
The next day will also be spent in Turkana.



DAY 6

We shall leave Turkana and drive to Samburu National Park.
A picnic lunch will be served enroute. We will arrive late afternoon for a short game drive.Dinner and an overnight stay at this Park.


DAY 7

A full day game viewing.This park harbors a number of wildlife species rarely found elsewhere. These include the Grevy's zebra, the reticulated giraffe and many others.Elephants are also known to roam the gaunt hills and the Ewaso ngiro river which rises hundreds of kilometers has a great population of crocodiles and hippos. All meals and an overnight stay at the camp.

DAY 8


After a morning game drive we will leave for Nairobi. A picnic lunch will be served on the way.
